Obama's Speeches: The Empty Calories of Public Speaking

There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Obama is an eloquent and inspiring speaker. His nationally televised speeches received ratings higher than most network television. He commands the youth vote with his masterful speeches.

Yet what good does speaking about change do if nothing changes?

Obama's speeches are enjoyable and interesting, but offer no nutritional value. Although public speaking is important, can he do anything else?

I'm looking for something more in a president. I want to see substance and true leadership, not just fancy words.
