Things To Do On A Date

by mythili
(Malaysia)

Q. I got this title from this website, but I have no idea how to write a speech for this topic. I also don't know whether is this a right topic for high schoolers.

A. This is a rather generic topic that can be altered to suit any age and audience. Here, reading your audience is of prime importance. The younger the audience, the more innocent the stories and suggestions. This topic is best approached with personal stories of both successful dates and those that, well, aren't. Possibly start with a funny anecdote of a failed date, then move on to ways to prevent such occurrences. Most important, have fun with your topic. Happy Speaking!
